On Thursday, January 10, 2008 at approximately 8:20 PM, the Game Stop located at 746 West Route 70 in Evesham Township was the scene of an armed robbery. Two black males wearing hooded sweatshirts were in the store posing as customers and waited for all other customers to vacate the store. Once everyone else had left, one of the males produced a black semi-automatic handgun and the two employees were placed on the ground. The suspects took well over $15,000.00 worth of merchandise which included: a large amount of video games, cash from the register, and a large number of video game systems to include ten Playstations 3 80 gig gaming systems. The males fled the store after destroying and taking the video surveillance system and destroying the telephone system and taking the employee's cellular telephones. One of the suspects had a distinctive, tear shaped scar in the area of his right eye..
