On Friday, October 27, 2006 detectives from numerous law enforcement agencies met to discuss the recent luring attempts throughout the area. The purpose of the meeting was for agencies that have experienced a recent luring attempt to share information with each other and also with other area agencies. Detectives currently investigating such attempts gave an overview of their particular case(s) and compared suspect identifiers from those cases as well as with those from known past offenders. These types of meetings are quite common when a rash of a particular incident or crime occurs. The lines of communication between agencies have been and remain open.
