On Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 4:28 pm police responded to the intersection of Taunton Lake Rd. and Tomlinson Mill Rd. for an aggravated assault complaint.
Investigation found that the suspect, Zachary Wilkins, an 19 year old white male residing on Foxmore Court, Marlton, NJ, and Erik Beck, an 18 year old white male residing on Bradford Road, Marlton, NJ, pointed a handgun at a victim while stopped at a traffic light on Taunton Lake Rd. The suspects then left the area traveling southbound on Tomlinson Mill Rd. in an older model blue Ford Crown Victoria.
The suspect vehicle was later located by the Evesham Police on Coventry Circle in the Kings Grant development where the suspects were arrested. The gun was recovered at the scene of the arrest and found to be an air soft handgun.
Wilkins and Beck were both charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for and Unlawful Purpose and Terroristic Threats. Both were released after posting $10,000/w 10% bail. |
