Domestic Violence Victim Response Team
Volunteers Needed!
The Evesham Township, Medford Township and Medford Lakes Boro Police Departments, in collaboration with Providence House Catholic Charities, are currently recruiting volunteers for a regional domestic violence victim response team. The team members will work in conjunction with the police departments in each of the municipalities to provide support, information and referral at the time of a domestic violence crisis. The agencies participating in this collaborative effort are committed to a multi-racial, multi-ethnic team to serve the community in the best manner possible. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have access to transportation, possess a valid driver’s license and submit to a background investigation which will include fingerprinting. An understanding of domestic violence issues and bilingual capability are a plus. Interested applicants should contact Captain Frank Locantore at 856-983-1116, Corporal James Diverso at 609-654-7511 or Lieutenant Steve Carbone at 609-654-2156. |
